Self Help Support Options

If you are experiencing technical problems with your game (e.g., game crashes, won't install correctly, you're receiving error messages, etc.), there are a number of self help support options available to you. 
 
Microsoft offers a variety of self help support services on on its 
Help and Support Web site.  Some of the options available on this site include:
  • Knowledge Base: The Knowledge Base (KB) is a continually updated online database where you can search for articles on documented issues.  Read a sample KB article
  • Downloads: This section enables you to run specific searches to find the latest updates and patches available.
  • Product Support Centers: This section highlights FAQs and general support articles concerning Microsoft software.  Visit the Product Support Center's games section
  • Newsgroups: Post questions to an online community.  The questions posted here are not answered directly by support professionals; instead, they are posted to an open community generally made up of fellow customers.  Visit the newsgroups overview page to find the appropriate newsgroup for your question.
